Known in the Islamic tradition as the “Awliyā’” (friends of Allah), they embody a living example of what it means to be human aspiring to emulate “al-Insān al-Kāmil” (the person who has reached perfection) – an honorific title used to describe the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessing of God be Upon Him).
